Every day in the UK around 11 men tragically take their own life.. That's almost 1 every 2 hours. A recent study found that 74% of UK suicides are men with this being the the biggest killer of men under the age of 50!
When we started TackleTek we wanted to ensure that we do our part in not only raising funding for a mens mental health charity but bringing the support to the angling community.
There are countless stories you can read of people saying that fishing has saved their lives. Whether it's escaping to the peace and tranquility of the lake or the social aspect of fishing with friends there is no doubt that this sport has the ability to change and save lives.
We have chosen to support Andy's Man Club, A free meeting once a week at over 190 locations within the UK. A place to support eachother over a brew and we all know us anglers love a brew!
